We are searching for a talented General Maintenance Worker 

Hours: 40hrs 

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm with on call as needed  

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Requirements

Under the general direction of the Manager, Facilities EOC perform a variety of duties both within and in support of Facilities Health Services Regions. Take prideful ownership of work assigned by coordinating, scheduling, and participating in various general maintenance activities while maintaining quality service commitments and strong customer service skills. Provide routine corrective/preventive maintenance in regional buildings, troubleshoot/triage equipment malfunctioning for the facility, and assist all trades to complete required work as assigned. Proper use of Maintenance & More system to properly maintain assigned work orders. Perform general EVS duties as needed to properly clean up after general maintenance task(s). On-occasion, on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training or the equivalent is required.
  • Mechanic related trade school or other related experience that demonstrates the ability to operate and maintain general maintenance tools is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years related work experience required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
