We are searching for a talented Office Coordinator-Radiology

 

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift; hours vary

Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Requirements

Under direction of the Manager, Radiology Clerical Operations or designee, perform diversified duties involving coordinating the daily operations and activities of assigned personnel and/or oversight of all office functions within the assigned site. Responsible for the supervision of assigned clerical staff including implementation of policies and procedures and compliance with Federal Trade Commission Red Flag Rules and all regulatory requirements. Responsible to perform clerical and related activities as part of daily duties. Duties include oversight of customer service, workflow, communication, staff development, radiology safety and personal development.

Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
  •  Associates degree preferred.
  • Duties require a thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Radiology office experience preferred.
  • Operational experience with various office equipment and experience with department/hospital computer systems (ie. PACS, RIS and LAB modules) are required.
  • Three (3) years of related work experience is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
