We are searching for a talented Physicist

 

Hours: Per Diem   

Shift: Day shift; 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Location: Cancer Center – Fall River, MA; position will follow a hybrid schedule

Requirements

Under the general direction of the Chief Physicist, the Physicist will work collaboratively with the physician staff, technical staff and other members of the physics team to maintain all clinical aspects of radiation therapy physics within Southcoast Radiation Oncology. Work is most likely to be focused on treatment plan, medical record, and equipment quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree or Masters Degree in either Medical Physics or other Applied Physics/Engineering degree required.
  • Clinical experience in radiation therapy and linear accelerator commissioning is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years radiation oncology experience is required.
  • Board Certification or Board eligibility in Radiation Therapy Physics from the American Board of Radiology or Board of Medical Physics.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
