Requirements
Under the supervision of the Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology, the Medical Director of Heart Failure and the Practice Manager of the Cardiology Service Line, the duties include developing and managing Cardiac Catheterization and Advanced Heart Failure clinics across Southcoast Health. The role coordinates the evaluation, treatment, education, and longitudinal management of patients with advanced heart failure disease and coronary artery disease. Responsibilities include facilitating workups, optimizing guideline-directed medical therapy, and coordinating diagnostic testing and procedures. The coordinator works closely within our Heart and Vascular service line to ensure patient-centered care across the continuum. Additional responsibilities include developing workflows and processes that enhance clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient experience.Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
- Excellent organizational, creative and problem-solving skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience with at least three (3) years in cardiac disease specific specialty is required.
- Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of Rhode Island is required.
- Qualified in all basic and advanced cardiac support standards as set by the American Heart Association.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
