We are searching for a talented Payroll Analyst
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location: Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA; Position will follow a hybrid schedule

Requirements
Under the general direction of the Director, Payroll Manager or Designee, coordinate payroll process for Southcoast Health System and it's subsidiaries as well as Payroll Analyst duties. Provide payroll and analytical support for all Southcoast Health System subsidiary organizations on payroll related policy/practices. Prepare and distribute reports and/or statistical analysis of payroll data as scheduled or assigned using ERP applications, Excel or other software as appropriate. Provide support for Time and Labor as well as Payroll systems by working in close coordination with HRIS Analyst, MIS, Finance, HR Division, and other hospital staff. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual spreadsheets. Assist with payroll data management processes during open enrollment, system testing, wage and salary programs, and statistical tracking, as scheduled or assigned. Work closely with HRIS Analyst, MIS, HR staff on development and optimization of Time and Labor and HCM systems. Assist with classroom and one-to-one training and education materials for end-user and Payroll staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business, Management Information Systems or related field required.
- Maintenance and reporting experience in a PeopleSoft and UKG environment preferred.
- Must have demonstrated experience using MS Office applications, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, in a business setting for statistical compilation, analysis and presentation.
- Must be familiar with HR and Payroll processing procedures, laws and regulations.
- Duties require very good verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 3 years' related experience with Payroll systems required.
- Demonstration of related experience (3+ years) may substitute for associate's degree.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
