We are searching for a talented Ambassador-Gift Shop Clerk 

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 3:00pm - 7:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation  

Location: Cancer Center - Fairhaven, MA

Requirements

Under the general supervision and direction of the Team Leader, Gift Shop or designee, assist customers/ guests with sales and product selection, replenish stock and process daily paperwork and bank deposits as required. Responsible for store presentation. Receiving store orders and managing store inventory. Responsible to attend annual inventory as well as bi-annual mock inventory and quarterly staff meetings. Receive and process shipments of merchandise and inventory checks. Additional Ambassadors functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Equal to the completion of 4 years of high school is required and 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
  • Retail and cash transaction experience is preferred.
  • Use of cash register and retail sales experience is helpful.
  • Excellent customer relations skills are required.
  • Word and Excel, retail store software knowledge is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
