Requirements
Responsible for oversight of device and supply acquisition, implementation, and strategic operational plans of the Southcoast Health System for the clinical engineering department. Ensure the safe and efficient utilization of all medical equipment and technology used in the delivery of healthcare services at all Southcoast Health System (SHS) locations. Develop and maintain departments operational and capital budget. Responsible to provide oversight of third-party vendor services in the clinical engineering space. Collaborate with ePMO, Supply Chain and Logistics department, third party vendors, and end users to provide direction with projects within the SHS which require clinical engineering resources.
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical, mechanical, or clinical engineering, or equivalent experience required.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in electronic design or repair.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in supervision of technical professionals.
- Electrical engineering or similar degree required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
