Requirements

Reporting to the Director of Planning and Construction, the Senior infrastructure Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for a variety of duties related to planning, coordinating, supervising, and drafting of various infrastructure-related projects across Southcoast Health. Direct, supervise and coordinate activities of assigned personnel. Assure successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest quality of administering required safety practices with all activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management or Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and practical concepts, and construction in a medical setting is required. Must be able to read and understand architectural and construction plans.
  • Familiarity with hospital design, Joint Commission requirements, and Life Safety protocols is required.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction codes and regulations is preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, power point, excel, and scheduling software is preferred.
  • Other office automation and business tools are preferred.
  • The ability to oversee, schedule, coordinate and direct project activities along with weekend, off-shift, holiday, and on-call and overtime may be required.
  • American Hospital Association CHFM (Certified Health Care Facilities Manager) is a plus.
  • 5 years of design engineering and project management experience preferred within healthcare or 10 years of experience managing/leading engineering teams required.
  • Professional Licensure/Registration in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • American Hospital Association CHFM (Certified Health Care Facilities Manager) a plus.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
