We are searching for a talented candidate for Gastroenterology - Inpatient & Outpatient.
Hours: 40 hours – 8A – 5P
Shift: Days – On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday)
Location: Fairhaven, MA + St. Luke's, Charlton memorial & Tobey Hospitals

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Requirements
- Position reports to the Physician, Office Manager, or designee.
- Conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
- Perform initial histories, physical examinations, consultations and follow-up care visits which may require laboratory testing, radiology testing, and/or immunizations.
- Formulate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and establish appropriate/ timely treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required.
- Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
- Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- One year experience required.
- Current Massachusetts Nursing Practitioners License or Physician Assistant License is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
